The Good Ole Boys Radio Show
An Urban Adult Contemporary program that airs music from the 60's, 70's, 80's and 90's. Occasionally, hit music from today can be heard. The show also incorporates hip hop from the 80's and 90's. This form of music has not been prevalent with mainstream Urban AC audiences, but as the people who grew up in those decades get older, it makes sense to play music that they grew up on. But primarily, the music is R&B, funk, and the occasional pop hit.
The show is the brainchild of LeTroy Gardner, Mario Washington, and Kimberly Shaw. Now airing on smooth jams radio every monday evening geared toward adult males.
Playing alot of old school music to lead the play lists, the conversations during their segments have become more oriented to discussions that men between the ages of 25 and 55 are likely to have.
